MINDING THE GAP

Hi, my name is Jo, I have recently left nursing after over 36 years and have now set up as a self – employed carer/PA with a difference :

I am offering home care/ PA cover for anyone who regularly cares for somebody and needs a break for whatever reason. This could be to have a holiday or due to illness for example. The cover will be for a specified and agreed time period until the usual carer returns to resume visits.

With my extensive nursing knowledge I can also offer a full assessment of activities of daily living, giving advice on anything which could enhance the quality of the individual’s life.

I am based in Netherton, Huddersfield, but the longer the ‘time blocks’ of care required, the further I can travel.

Live in care is also offered if appropriate for a specified time period.

I am able to be flexible so will endeavour to arrange a package of care with you and the client  to accommodate your needs. This may be possible at short notice, depending on other bookings.
